Just wanted to share with you this images of some of the first CDs I've "delivered" around the center of Malaga. There were more, but some places were not really appropiate for photos.
Maybe you can use some of these ideas for your own ;)

Solo quería compartir con vosotros estas imágenes de los primeros CDs que he "repartido" por el centro de Málaga. Había mas, pero algunos de los lugares no eran apropiados para hacer fotos.
Quizá podais usar algunas de las ideas para vuestros propios CDs! ;)

Unas fotos del cd #1 de The Nomad Mixtape, que ya se ha puesto en circulación con sus compañeros #2,#3 y #4. Todos ellos tienen canciones diferentes, y pronto repartiré mas.

Here's the CD cover for the Nomad Mixtape. Its meant to use as a diptych, either in an envelope or cd case.
Feel free to print it and spread the word :)
The "inside" of the diptych (which would remain blank), can be used to attach a handwritten tracklist, a personal note to the stranger, your own email adress if you want to....
We don't really want to set rules, but 10 songs seem like a nice way to standarize it a bit (it's not too much, it's not too little!)
The idea is to be completely random about the person receiving the cd. However we understand that a certain amount of "targetting" is acceptable (young folks are more likely to listen to the cd you give them, for example)

La parte de dentro del díptico (que quedaría en blanco) puede ser usada para escribir la lista de canciones a mano, una nota al destinatario del cd, incluir tu email si quieres....

La idea es elegir destinatarios al azar, pero entendemos que puede ser un poco "dirigido" (es mas probable que una persona joven vaya a escuchar tu cd, por ejemplo)

We all love making mixtapes for friends, don`t we?
Making a mixtape involves carefully picking songs that stand out for some reason, and hoping the other person would feel the same thing you felt when listening to them.
It also involves putting the songs in careful orden creating a sequence of intensities, moods, and feelings.
Hell, if you put love in what you do, it even involves designing your own cover.
Now, we had an idea. "What if we made mixtapes for strangers, and dropped them on their mailboxes, or put them in their coats?" The cd cover would only contain an e-mail adress to which they could reply, if interested in the experiment.
"If things grew bigger, we could upload a designed cd cover to this website so people could print them and make their own cd's all over the world, wouldn't that be great?" we thought
All we really aspire to, is making someone happy for a moment, feel special and delightfully puzzled.

A todos nos gusta grabar CD's variados a nuestros amigos ¿no?
Hacer un CD implica escoger cuidadosamente las canciones, que destacan por algún motivo, y esperar que la otra persona sienta lo mismo que sentiste tu al escucharla.
También implica colocar las canciones en un orden determinado, creando una secuencia de intesidades, ambientes y sentimientos.
Joder, si realmente le pones cariño, implica diseñar tu propia carátula.
Tuvimos esta idea: ¿Por qué no hacer CDs variados para desconocidos, y echarlos a sus buzones, o ponerlos en los bolsillos de sus abrigos?
La portada del CD solo contendrá una dirección de correo electrónico a la que responder si están interesados en el experimento.
"Si la cosa se vuelve grande podriamos subir una carátula hecha a este blog y que la gente la imprima y haga sus propios CD's por todo el mundo, ¿no estaría bien?" pensamos.
Todo a lo que aspiramos es a hacer sentir a alguien feliz por un momento, y deliciosamente confundido.
